You Choose Abuse: The Game

This website is an academic project for a course about civic engagement within the Master of Public Policy and Administration program.

A “serious game” was created to be a vessel for deliberative discussions, using a choose-your-own-adventure type of approach. This “game” was developed using advanced forms with dynamic data and conditional logic.

Between each scenario, interludes and interstitials further education, provide context, and guide activities, such as literature reviews, victim testimonials, visuals, and videos.

The project also involves a discussion board for each scenario to encourage further engagement, and downloadable guides for facilitators.
